When you've spent an entire career playing the game the way Derek Jeter does, you deserve some respect.

Jeter will start in his 14th All Star Game tonight, and it will also be the last for 'The Captain'.

Jeter has spent his entire career doing things the right way.  He literally played every game the same way until his body told him that he couldn't anymore.

It's a known fact that nobody likes the Yankees (except for people living in NYC and bandwagon fans) BUT everyone respects Jeter.

That speaks volumes.
