The First Cannabis Church In Michigan Debuts In Lansing
'The First Cannabis Church of Logic and Reason' opened their doors in Lansing recently, and the congregation is excited about their new home.
There have been other Cannabis Churches to open around the US, but this is the first in Michigan. Around 50 people joined the first service, and most took part in Cannabis use at some time before, or after the service.
Jeremy Hall is the leader of the church, and hopes that this will turn into a monthly meeting for people to talk about the spiritual properties of cannabis.
There aren't any sort of religious texts or commandments to follow, but the spirituality brought on by cannabis are what the people are supposed to follow.
There also weren't many people opposed to the new church, with only one protestor showing up at the first service.
Would you ever pull up a pew at the Cannabis Church?
