The 2Pac biopic All Eyez On Me is finally in theaters and so far has totaled $27 million at the box office during its opening weekend. Despite the box office returns, but the film received tremendously mixed reviews. he movie exceeded expectations,

Critics haven't exactly raved about the project, but California native The Game took to Instagram to defend Tupac Shakur and the movie.

“#AllEyezOnMe SUPPORT it. Go see it. Tell a friend. I love the movie & ANYBODY with a negative review of this film or anything bad to say about PAC….. I’m gone say it since he can’t….. F**K YOU #ThugLife #RIP2Pac #RIPAfeni #CaliforniaLove,” The Game wrote.

Similarly, MC Hammer also took to social media to defend the movie.

He tweeted, "Everything seen, said and done ain't meant to be in a movie. #AllEyezOnMe is an EXCELLENT TRUTHFUL portrayal of my LOVED one. I Salute it."

But The Game's old G-Unit frenemy, 50 Cent, wasn't as happy with the biopic.

“I’m a big 2 PAC fan, I just don’t think his story was done well he deserved better. Check it out, the shit felt like I was watching a life time TV movie in a theater. I wanted to change the channel. The new edition story was better then that shit. SMH,” 50 Cent wrote in an Instagram caption.

Jada Pinkett-Smith, a close friend of 2Pac's since they were teenagers, criticized the film's depiction of she and Shakur's relationship.

L.T. Hutton responded to the backlash by saying, "I created the Holy Trinity, it's who 2Pac was, who he wanted to be, and who he had to be to survive the world he was introduced into," Hutton said. "So, each part of the film, you have the things that, 'Okay, that's who 2Pac was,' and then you will have moments where it's like, 'Oh, that's who he wanted to be,' and there's other things that he wanted to do that he didn't get to do that we add in because it's the 2Pac movie."
