The Detroit Pistons had the hometown hero, Trey Burke sitting right in front of them when it was their turn to pick the 8th man in the 2013 NBA Draft.  Instead of taking Burke, Detroit chose Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in a draft that was full of surprises.

Michigan star,Trey Burke didn't have to wait long considering his name was called moments later as Minnesota picked him with the 9th pick.  Their are insiders saying that Burke has already been traded though to the Utah Jazz.

Detroit also picked up Texas forward Tony Mitchell and Louisville guard Peyton Siva in the second round.
