The Saginaw Sting are dedicating Saturday May 5th to helping out Vassar native, Travis Mills.  If you don't know Travis' story yet, check out all the details here, then make plans to come to the game on Saturday.

I've had the pleasure of working with the Sting for three seasons now, and I can honestly say that they are an amazing group of people.  Not only is the team undefeated, and loaded with talent, they are all about helping out the community.

The Sting fans helped to raise more than $3,000 last Friday during local heroes night, and the goal is to  beat that amount on Saturday.

Tickets are only $10 and all seating is general admission for this special event.  I don't want to forget to tip my hat to the Indy Enforcers for allowing the Sting to host this game too.  This was supposed to be an Indy home game, but they are giving it to Saginaw to help raise money for Travis.  Truly a class move.

When you come to the game make sure you come down to the field and say hi, I'll be the loud one with the microphone!  Check out some of the highlights from the last time these two teams met.
