Calgary Hitmen’s 21st annual Petro-Canada Teddy Bear Toss broke a world record! During the Hitmen's game against the Scotiabank Saddledome. The 28,815 teddy bears were tossed onto the hockey rink, and it's a beautiful sight. Imagine being a little kid and seeing this?! It's like something out of the worlds greatest dream. The sellout crowd of 19,289 fans brought stuffed toys will be donated to 50 local agencies in the Calgary area including the Calgary Food Bank, Stephen’s Backpacks, the Salvation Army and Siksika Children’s Services.This donation broke the previous world record of 26,919 stuffed toys. Yes, it's now a WORLD RECORD!
