Bedrock Halloween Gives Kids A Chance to Safely Trick or Treat in Downtown Flint
BEDROCK Apparel is teaming up with businesses in downtown Flint to make sure kids have a safe trick or treat option this Halloween.
The first BEDROCK Halloween is happening on Halloween evening covering the entire 600 block of downtown Flint. With all of the confusion about trick or treating this year, a handful of downtown Flint businesses are teaming up to give kids a safe trick or treating option.
The entire Square Block including the 600 Block of Saginaw and Harrison Street will be involved, including the 100 Block of 2nd Street and 3rd Street. The organizers are strongly adhering to all social distancing guidelines. Masks will be required for everyone involved. To make sure that everyone is safe, the stores handing out candy will use gloves or some sort of utensil to distribute the candy. If you are planning on attending the even on Saturday, you can park in the Flat Lot, the Farmers Market parking lot, and any of the street parking for free.
You can see the planned route for the trick or treaters below, and there will be guides along the route to make sure everyone knows where to go.
If you are looking to find out when your city is trick or treating, you can see the complete list of times here. Just remember that there are CDC guidelines that you are recommended to follow this year to make sure everyone is safe.
You can hear what the co-owners of BEDROCK had to say about the event below.
