Calvin Johnson ‘Megatron’ Is The ‘Madden NFL 13′ Cover Man [Video]

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson aka: 'Megatron' is officially the cover man for 'Madden NFL 13'.

Calvin beat out  Panthers quarterback Cam Newton for the honor. The vote was announced Wednesday afternoon on "SportsNation" on ESPN2.

Johnson just signed a huge eight year deal worth $132 million in March with the Lions, and the good news just keeps rolling in with the video game cover.

"Man, it's great," a smiling Johnson said. "Just to see yourself on this Madden cover and seeing all the guys that have been on Madden? C'mon, man."

Calvin says he isn't worried about the supposed curse even though Lions fans everywhere are a little nervous.  Don't worry too much about it though, considering the list of players who have gone on to greatness is much longer than the injury list.
