It was two years ago that Flint City Councilman, Eric Mays, was arrested for driving the wrong way on 475, with four flat tires.

Mays was found guilty of being "Visibly Impaired" along with failing to report an accident stemming from the incident.  He was cleared of three other charges related to that case in a previous trial.

Mays says that he plans on appealing the ruling as soon as he completes the court requirements.

This was one of the most entertaining/unbelievable court cases that I've ever seen in Flint.  During the original trial, a judge berated Mays for representing himself.  It was pretty much a done deal that he would be found guilty, but somehow he dodged all the serious charges.
