Expungement Event In Saginaw Will Help Remove Felonies And Misdemeanors

An expungement event is coming up on August 5 out in Saginaw, MI aimed at giving those with spotty criminal records a second chance.

I believe programs like this don't get enough exposure and should be highlighted way more often. I know a hand few of my personal friends and family members that have made some bad decisions growing up that resulted in them having felonies and misdemeanors on their records. And I've heard countless stories on how this has prevented people from getting jobs and even rejected on home and apartment applications.

An Expungement Clinic will be taking place on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Great Lakes Bay Michigan Works! office at 312 E. Genesee, Saginaw, MI 48607.

 

Individuals may be eligible to remove misdemeanors and felonies from their criminal record.

 

Some convictions are not eligible for expungement and waiting periods for eligibility vary.

 

Pre-registration before July 22, 2021 is required.
