Flint's Morris Peterson is back home to help feed area families for Thanksgiving again this year. The Michigan State University Hall of Fame inductee values giving back to his hometown. Thank you Mo Pete.

Mo Pete has partnered with the United Way of Genesee County and Eastern Michigan Food Bank to distribute the Thanksgiving dinners. Over 100 families have been pre-selected to received food from Flint native.

On Tuesday November 25th, Peterson will be giving out the food at 5:30pm at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church located 3020 Dupont St. in Flint.

We are thankful for Peterson's efforts to give back to his community. Everyone is not as fortunate to be able to have a quality meal on Thanksgiving Day. However, Peterson's generosity will help a family in need.
