Saginaw County residents looking to get tested for Coronavirus can do so for free today in Buena Vista.

The drive through testing site is happening today in Buena Vista Township from 11am to 3pm, or while testing supplies last. The best part about the testing today is that there are no pre-requirements to get tested. You don't need to have symptoms, a note from a doctor, or even insurance. You have the choice to drive through, or walk up to get tested.

The drive through testing is being run by Great Lakes Bay Health Centers. The testing is happening at 1161 S. Outer Drive at Town Green Park. If you are not able to make it to the free testing today, you can visit GLBHC at one of their locations to get tested. There is a complete list of testing locations here. They have also posted information about the free testing today on their Facebook page.

There are more and more of these free testing sites popping up, which is a very good thing. Until recently, it was difficult for someone with no symptoms to get tested, but that seems to be changing. Testing is the best tool we have right now to prevent another wave of Coronavirus cases coming in to Michigan.
