Grit, Glam, And Guts Conference Aimed At Helping Teen Girls In Flint [Video]

The Boys & Girls Club in Flint is teaming up with Grit, Glam, & Guts to help teenage girls in Flint this weekend.

The conference is aimed at helping young women develop a healthy self identity during one of the toughest periods of their lives.

The conference will feature expert speakers, and sessions like 'Pretty Hurts', Defining Your Purpose, and many more.

The importance of giving a young woman the tools she needs to be confident, and independent, are invaluable.  That's exactly what this conference is all about, along with having fun with a group of girls going through the exact same issues as they are.

Make sure that you are involved in your daughters life, and give them plenty of outlets to talk about issues they may be having.  Grits, Glam, & Guts is one of the outlets that could prove to be most useful.

The conference happens Saturday June 4th, with registration starting at 8:30am.  Registration is absolutely free, and food will be provided to everyone that attends.
