The Michigan Renaissance Festival has added extra dates to their festival on parade schedule.

While even though the Michigan Renaissance Festival is "closed" to normal operations this year, you and your family can still get your festival fix. The MI Ren Fest has begun their drive-thru experience called Festival on Parade.

The Festival on Parade began this past weekend for customers, but unfortunately, due to weather, the parade was canceled on Sunday. Because of the cancellation, new dates have been added to the schedule. You, your family, and your friends can now register for Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27th.

We are Sorry for the inconvenience and will try to get everyone rescheduled and able to still enjoy the Festivals on...

For those that don't know, the Festival on Parade allows customers and families to experience a bit of the Michigan Renaissance Festival from the safety of their cars. Vehicles will travel down a one-way route through the fairgrounds to enjoy some entertainment, a trivia contest, food, and other activities along the way.

Only a limited number of tickets will be sold for this one-of-a-kind festival experience for each day. Each vehicle will cost $20 plus fees and taxes with all proceeds supporting the Michigan Renaissance Festival operations.

For those planning on attending, here are a few things to keep in mind and bring:

  • A pen to fill out orders - menus will be provided.
  • Masks and hand sanitizer.
  • Cash for vendors that may not offer credit cards.
  • Also, remain in your vehicle for the entire event unless you need to exit to use the restroom.

The Festival on Parade menu will feature options from the Knights Cookery, Dragon Kettle Corn, Dragon's Lair, Pirate's Galley, Queen's Canteen, and Jester's Jerky Joint. For the full menu, click here.
