'No shirt, No shoes, No service' does not seem to be a problem for people. However, 'No shirt, No Shoes, No mask, No service' appears to be a big problem for some people.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is calling for a national mask-up campaign. Governor Whitmer is asking that everyone, even those working in the White House, wear a mask to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

Governor Whitmer said the following during a CNN interview,

"I'd like a national mask-up campaign. I think that if everyone endorsed this, it's a simple cost effective thing that we could do to really mitigate spread.

But the symbols that come from the very top matter and it changes behavior. If we can take the politics out of mask wearing we can save a lot of lives and in doing so save the pain, the economic pain, that we are feeling across this country."

What side of this issue do you fall on? I am continuing to wear my mask. It just makes me feel better. I did stop wearing plastic gloves in the grocery store. I do continue to wear gloves when pumping gas, or using an ATM machine.

Governor Whitmer is not the first politician calling for everyone to wear a mask. According to WNEM, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy recently asked for the same call to action on an episode of 'Meet the Press'.

We shall see how this call to action plays out. I feel like the majority of people I encounter on a daily basis, are wearing a mask. It's almost weird for me to see someone not wearing one.

Feel free to share your thoughts.
