Michigan may be the first state to implement new laws that would prevent people from making false 911 calls on people of color. Barbeque Becky better watch out.

From "Barbeque Becky" to "Dog Park Debbie" to the infamous incident at Starbucks when a black man was arrested for simply waiting on his friend -- the trend of "crying wolf" on P.O.C. has become more common in recent years. Lawmakers in Michigan and a few other states wanna crack down on the nonsense.

Now making a false police report is already a crime, but the idea is to add a little extra punishment for those seeking to abuse the justice system with the sole intent of harassing innocent people of color. Given the recent trends, I think it is a good idea.

The question now is, how do you determine who's really racist?  And who's just a mean person. Heck, when I was younger I found myself in situations with neighbors over loud music and they were black like me! Nothing came from it, but the last thing I want is for this new tool to be taken advantaged of if implemented.
