Michigan State showed off their number one ranked defense in the Big10 Championship game, where they beat undefeated Ohio State.  Now Sparty is moving on to their first Rose Bowl appearance since 1988.

With the huge win, and celebration came some bad news though because everyone knows you can't have a party in East Lansing without burning some couches.

There were numerous arrests on campus as cars were flipped, furniture was burned and public property was destroyed.

Putting all the celebration mayhem in the past, MSU has a huge game to look forward too.

On top of being Sparty's first trip to Pasadena since 1988, it's also the Centennial Edition of the Rose Bowl.  How big of a game is the 100th Rose Bowl?  Well big enough to showcase in the last year of traditional bowl games as "The Grandaddy of them All."
