Name Flints New OHL Hockey Team and Win Season Tickets

Flint will be the new home of an OHL Hockey team, but the new owners of Perani Arena need your help to decide what to call the team.

It's not just a name that they're looking for, they also need team colors, and a logo.

The new team coming to Flint will play in the same league as the Saginaw Spirit, which will revive a rivalry that hockey fans have been missing.

Some of the potential names thrown out so far are the 'Stones,' the 'Tropics,' and many others have began to pour in.

More great news is coming for hockey fans in Flint at Perani arena.  On Friday February 20th is Redwings Alumni game against the Flint Generals Alumni.  Portions of the proceeds will go to the United Way of Flint, and the Old Newsboys of Flint.
