Flushing Township employees are facing a new policy that would allow them to only talk about work related subjects while on the clock.  The policy is definitely raising some concerns both inside and outside of the office.

The concerns that employees are raising deal with everything from the overall moral in the building to the violation of free speech.  Rian Birchmeier, the township supervisor who put the policy into place would not comment on the rule, but most everyone else has plenty to say.

There are even some people who support the new policy, saying that when the employees are at work, they are being payed by tax dollars.  That fact alone should dictate how focused they are on the job in front of them.
