New Michigan Bill Would Allow School Districts To Start Before Labor Day
If passed the new bill would allow school districts to begin the school year before Labor Day.
A new Michigan bill is getting some mixed reviews, but if passed kids could be starting school a little earlier.
If signed by Governor Rick Snyder some hot tourist spots in Michigan could be seeing a lot less traffic. According to statistics the new change could bring down tourism in Michigan by 40% which would of course impact jobs.
Senator Knollenberg is hoping to add a four day weekend for school districts to the new bill which would require school districts to not have school on Mondays and Fridays in August.
