A Measles outbreak has grown to 18 confirmed cases in Oakland County over the last two weeks.

The first case was reported on March 13th, with multiple confirmations following. Measles is such a quick spreading, resilient virus that it is hard to stop an outbreak quickly.

Oakland County has been trying to keep an updated list of locations where people may have been exposed to Measles. You can see that list here. They have also been trying to educate people about how easy it is to avoid getting Measles with a vaccine.

Check the exposure location list and see if you are at risk. Keep in mind that Measles symptoms can take up to 21 days to show up, so it's better to error on the side of caution.

If you do have any questions you should call your healthcare provider.
