Police in Saginaw are still searching for a suspect in the weekend shooting at a party near the Saginaw Valley State University campus.

The shooting happened at Campus Village Apartments on Saturday night, during a party of more than 1,000 people.

So far there aren't many leads because everyone was caught off guard by the incident.  Party-goers told WNEM that the shooter just randomly fired shots into the crowd.

Luckily, nobody was killed or seriously injured.  The police are reportedly looking for a suspect described as a black male in his 20s with dread locks and blonde ends.

If you have any information, you are encouraged to contact the Saginaw Police Department.
