A new year has arrived and here is what Genesee County has to look forward to.

As spring is quickly approaching, it's time to start thinking about upcoming festivals.

The Crim Fitness Foundation announced that they would be covering costs for graduating Flint seniors this year.

The Crim Festival of Races is always a big deal in Flint, but things have been turned up a notch for the 40th anniversary.

The Crim is definitely one of the crown jewels of Flint, and Mama Sol teamed up with the Crim Foundation to create an inspirational song that touches all Flint residents.

Safe & Active Genesee for Everyone (SAGE) Coalition will be awarding eight $1000 mini-grants to community groups working to further active living in Genesee County. In an effort to promote active living this incentive will also be ideal for groups looking to get off the ground or in need of an extra push to implement community service initiatives.

Participants will be able to self-select their group according to their starting pace time* online.  On the online application, a drop box will display with a range of pace times.  Select your starting pace time* and groups within that time range will appear.
