Watch Apple’s Touching Holiday Commercial

The new Christmas commercial from Apple paints the familiar scene of a family enjoying time together while a distant teen buries himself in his iPhone, but the ending shows that technology triumphs over teen angst.

The ad is beyond touching, and shows all of the things that are possible with the power of your phone.  The family moments that are caught on camera and put together by the teen are what every what every functional family dreams of.

The problem is that there's absolutely no way that this would EVER happen in real life.

In real life, the kid is probably tweeting about how much he'd rather be playing Halo or how he's sooooooo pissed at his Grandpa for hitting him with a sock.
