Accident Stopping Traffic On South Bound 75 This Morning

South Bound I-75 is closed at Bridgeport this morning due to an accident that happened just north of Birch Run.

WNEM is reporting that a multiple vehicle accident happened around 6:35am Monday morning, closing the southbound lanes of I-75 in Saginaw County.

Police are saying that as many as nine vehicles are involved. Traffic is being diverted at the Bridgeport exit. Commuters can take the Dixie Highway to Birch Run Road. Officers are asking commuters to use an alternate route, if possible.

Be careful this morning, and make sure to avoid this area if you can.
