If you're planning a date night, make sure that you're aware of the guidelines that restaurants have to follow.

Things are getting "back to normal," whatever that means - as of today, Michigan restaurants are allowed to bring customers back inside their premises. Before this, restaurants were ordered to stay closed because of the COVID-19 outbreak; if they were able to, they could stay open for takeout, delivery, and curbside pick-up.

If you're planning on dining out right now, know that groups are required to be seated at least six feet apart, servers must wear masks, and restaurants can only be 50% full.

And now, without further ado, here are the Flint-area restaurants that are opening back up today:

BLACKSTONES SMOKEHOUSE

XOLO

DONNA'S DONUTS

CHURCHILL'S FOOD & SPIRITS

CORK ON SAGINAW

HOFFMANS DECO DELI & CAFE

ITALIA GARDENS

FOSTER COFFEE COMPANY

AUBREE'S PIZZERIA & GRILL

BLONDIES FOOD & SPIRITS

FLINT FARMERS MARKET

THE RED BARON
*OPENING UP MID-JUNE*

Please, PLEASE remember to be patient with these businesses as they open up for the first time since March with new requirements and operating procedures. The "new normal" is new for EVERYBODY, so we'll all be adjusting together.

Be patient with waitstaff and tip well. And, if a private business requires you to wear a mask, WEAR A MASK. If you don't want to wear one, go elsewhere. They're allowed to make decisions, just like you are. Be respectful and enjoy your favorite eateries in-person again!
