Genesee County Holding A Special Election Vote On Many Issues Today

Voters in Genesee County are hitting the ballots today in a special voting session on issues from school funding to marijuana.

Voting will be taking place all over Mid-Michigan, but the specific items being decided in Gensee County are listed below.

City of Montrose Marijuana proposal (charter amendment – looks like 1 oz or less of marijuana for anyone over 21 negated from Code of Ordinances)

Grand Blanc Schools – Operating Renewal;

Westwood Heights Non Principle Residence

Westwood Heights Building & Site Renewal

The marijuana issue in Montrose would basically make it legal for anyone over 21 to carry 1 oz or less on private property.
