JaVale McGee Hosting 9th Annual Turkey Giveaway In Flint Friday

JaVale McGee might be in the middle of a hot start by the Lakers, but that isnt stopping him from hosting his annual turkey giveaway in Flint.

McGee is a Flint native, and has hosted his turkey giveaway in Flint for the last eight years. Last year, McGee distributed around 300 free turkeys according to Mlive. This year the turkey giveaway will be happening in two different locations. McGee will be giving out free turkeys to residents in Flint and Compton, CA.

The annual turkey giveaway in Flint this year will feature about 500 free turkeys for families in Flint. The event happens from 3pm to 5pm on Friday at 4121 Martin Luther King Blvd., Flint, 48505.
