The Detroit Pistons have announced that they plan on retiring the numbers of two iconic Pistons players, Chauncey Billups and Ben Wallace.

Big Ben will be honored on January 16th and Chauncey will be honored on February 10th.

Chauncey played for 8 seasons total with the Pistons, and earned the nickname "Mr. Big Shot."  Billups also earned the 2004 NBA Finals MVP as the Pistons became champions.

Ben Wallace earned 4 Defensive Player of the Year awards with the Pistons over the course of his career.

Together the pair won an NBA Championship in 2004.  Appeared in another NBA Finals, and six consecutive Eastern Conference Finals.

There hasn't been a team in the NBA built like their Pistons team since, and they definitely deserve the recognition.

Check out an amazing sequence that displays how well they played together.
