The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for all of Mid-Michigan, south of the Bay area from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm today.

Sustained winds, out of the southeast will run up to 25 mph today, but gusts will get as high as 45 mph.

Area-wide, these strong winds could pick up unsecured objects, so you should secure any outside your home. The winds could also blow down tree limbs and lead to power

outages today. Source:NBC25.com

Make sure you're being mindful of these roads as well. Strong winds tend to push small cars around, especially motorcyclists.  I'm an avid motorcycle enthusiast and strong winds always give me anxiety. It's hard enough trying not to die on these Michigan roads without strong winds.

So please just be aware today, strong winds can throw anything around.
