The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning that will go until Thursday for the Mid-Michigan area including the Flint and Saginaw area. Strong winds with a couple of inches of rain is a recipe for a flooded Michigan basement. Hopefully, you've invested in flood insurance by now.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a flood watch for much of Mid-Michigan--from a line stretching from Saginaw County to Huron County and southward, including Flint--through 8 a.m. Thursday.

 

Detroit, Ann Arbor, Lansing and Jackson were also under a flood watch. SourceNBC25.com

These next couple of days could get pretty nasty. Especially tonight with certain parts of Michigan getting hit winds as high as 40 knots. Expect to see some serious tree damage today and some potential power outages. What a great way to transition into the Fall and Winter seasons.
