The District Championship trophies won't be held in the air for long, because Mid-Michigan football players have to turn their focus on to Regionals.

The great area match-ups did not disappoint last week, and now the field gets thinner as teams try to advance to Ford Field.

Check out the teams in the Club 93.7 area that are moving on to Regional games this week.

Clarkston (9-2) @ Lapeer (11-0) Friday, November 9th at 7pm

Lapeer kept their winning streak alive with a big win over Oxford, but the Lightning face their toughest challenge of the year Friday. Clarkston will come to Lapeer with hopes of ending their dream season.

Midland (8-3) @ Walled Lake Western (8-3) Friday, November 9th at 7pm

Midland will have to get back down to earth after a great win over their rivals at Dow. Sometimes it can be hard to get back to work after such a huge win, but Midland will have to focus to beat Walled Lake Western.

Reed City (11-0) @ Saginaw Swan Valley (11-0) Saturday, November 10th at 1pm

This is the kind of match-ups that football fans love. Two undefeated teams meeting late in the playoffs, and this doesn't happen very often. Swan Valley proved once again that they can score at will, and they'll need to do that to beat Reed City on Saturday.

Frankenmuth (9-2) @ Portland (11-0) Saturday, November 10th at 1pm

Frankenmuth keeps rolling, but they face an unbeaten Portland team this weekend. Can the Eagles keep this late season magic alive?

Montrose (9-2) @ Hamady (11-0) TBD

Hamady looked more like themselves in the District Championship game, dominating from beginning to end. Now they face a Montrose team that is coming off a hard fought win over Millington. The Hawks are poised to keep the perfect season alive this weekend.

Beecher (8-3) @ Harbor Beach (10-1) TBD

Beecher comes in as the underdog, but everyone in Buctown knows that's not a problem. Beecher has been rolling in the playoffs, and despite Harbor Beach being a favorite to win, I'm still standing with Beecher to advance.
