Jack Pratt, the areas all time winningest football coach, died Monday at the age of 84.  Pratt coached for almost 50 years racking up wins in football and basketball, but most importantly, helping shape young people's lives.

On the football field Pratt, and his signature orange pants, racked up more than 300 games at Flint St. Matthew, Grand Blanc, Kearsley and Powers.  Including a state championship as Powers head coach in 2005.  He also won almost 400 high school basketball games as a head coach.

Pratt retired in 2006 saying that, "The young people are the best product in the world."

Mlive reports that funeral arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes in Swartz Creek, according to his obituary.
